In Sri Lanka, irresponsible, illegal, and unplanned deforestation and resulting habitat loss is the number one cause of extinction of many of our beautiful species, including several endemics. There are a range of root causes, but the real need is for less words and more decisive Action in Sri Lanka. By helping us protect our tropical forests within the Emerald Trails corridor, you will be contributing to stemming critical biodiversity loss, keeping endemic species alive, and fighting climate change.
